ACTIVITIES:
Wednesday 2nd: High Speed Tech through the Years Imagine stepping into a time machine and traveling through the history of gaming! During this week, you’ll have the chance to experience gaming from different eras. From retro classics to the latest technology, get ready to have a blast playing games and learning about how they’ve evolved over time.
Wednesday 9th: Elemental Fun! Calling all young scientists! Get ready to put on your lab coats and goggles as we dive into the world of elements. You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with trapping gases and explore the wonders of colour. Just like the Mars rover, you’ll learn how colors can help us identify different elements. Get ready for some explosive and colourful fun!
Wednesday 16th: A Space Odyssey Join us for an out-of-this-world adventure as we tell the fascinating story of Laika, the first dog in space. But wait, there’s a twist! Our lively family show will have you on the edge of your seat. Plus, throughout the day, you can take part in an upcycling craft workshop where you’ll learn how to turn ordinary objects into something extraordinary.
Wednesday 23rd: NASA / Universe / Space Prepare for an immersive journey through space! Step inside our sensory tent and listen to captivating space stories. And guess what? We have a special guest—an astronaut! Discover the history of space flight using everyday items. You’ll even have the chance to make your very own balloon-powered rocket vehicles. We’ll also talk about the amazing women in science and space, and you’ll laugh when you hear how the engineers got their grandmothers to knit the computer program that took the first person to the moon (LOL—little old lady drive).
Wednesday 30th: Robots Are you ready for some robot madness? Brace yourselves because we have a real-life Transformer roaming around the shopping village. You can interact with it and strike a pose for awesome photos! But that’s not all—get your coding skills ready because you’ll have the chance to program a robotic arm and even program “lunar rovers” for epic space missions. And don’t miss the battle of the fighting robots! Watch them clash in an epic showdown. You can also witness the magic of 3D printing as you see a robot being made right before your eyes.
