The Clacton Flow Fund Returns
The Clacton Flow Fund!
Everyone’s a winner as the Clacton Flow Fund returns!
Once again, YOU will get to decide as three vital local charities go head-to-head for £1250 in cash from Clacton Shopping Village. Voting will take place on our Facebook page and via the link below to decide which charity gets the £750 jackpot with the runners-up sharing £500.
In the mix this round are three good causes, St Helena Hospice, Sands and Tendring Wellbeing and Intervention Services. With all votes to be counted and the results announced on the 31st October.
All three work with the local Clacton community, and provide vital services to those in need. But don’t just take our word for it, here’s a bit more about each Charity.
ST HELENA
St Helena Hospice provides specialist palliative and end of life care to local people facing incurable illness in north east Essex, supporting them, their families, friends and carers.
We provide individual care and total support wherever it is needed; at home, over the phone with our 24/7 advice line, and at the hospice.
We also help adults in north Essex to cope with grief following the death of a loved one, regardless of where or how they died.
We reach out to members of our community, helping them make their own choices and live with dignity. By focusing on their physical, emotional and spiritual needs, we aim to bring comfort and relief to all those who need it, offering the people of north east Essex individual care and total support, regardless of their diagnosis or personal circumstances.
We rely heavily on the help and generosity of our fundraisers, donors and volunteers. Without them we wouldn’t be here.
SANDS
Sands works in partnership with health care professionals, trusts and health boards and offers a range of training programmes and bereavement care resources to ensure that every bereaved parent and family receives the best possible care wherever they are in the UK.
Sands supports and promotes research to better understand the causes of baby deaths, improve maternity safety and save babies’ lives. The charity also raises awareness of baby loss and works with governments, key influencers and other stakeholders to make reducing the number of babies dying a priority nationally and locally.
TENDRING WELLBEING AND INTERVENTION SERVICES
Our mission is to give everyone across Tendring and North East Essex, access to therapy who requires a little support, without cost barriers nor waiting lists.

Unique intervention services with many not available on the NHS
