Headway Essex

Headway Essex is a local charity supporting adults and their mission is to ensure that everyone living in Essex with an acquired brain injury can live a fulfilling life and that families and carers are better able to cope within their caring roles.  They work with each person to support them with their individual rehabilitation goals and support needs. They have two hubs where individuals can attend for the day on a weekly basis and also help many more in the community through their caseworkers with brain injury training, a help line, support and social groups. They support just over 500 people every year across Essex.

Open Road Recovery

Open Road has been providing structured recovery support to the communities of Essex for over 33 years. Our mission is to empower a diverse range of individuals, families, and communities to lead healthy and more meaningful lives, free from addiction, offending behaviour, and disadvantage to ensure healthier, happier lifestyles. Our service users are at the heart of everything we do and last year we supported over 8,000 individuals who were struggling with addiction, enabling them to get their lives, and those of their families, back on track. Our ethos is one of acceptance and change, accepting people as they are whilst helping them to make positive changes.

Educare Lifeskills Centre

Educare Lifeskills Centre is for people of all ages whom are suffering from physical or learning disabilities. We supply stimulating learning and life skills training through our enterprise related workshops to help our service users achieve the necessary skillsets to gain more independence.
