New Bus Routes from 1st June

From 1st June, the 137 bus will be renumbered and re-routed to become 1 and 1A, making it easier to get to Clacton Shopping Village.

Buses will run every 30 minutes throughout the day, seven days a week (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day).

The new route runs from Clacton Pier Avenue to ASDA, via Clacton Railway Station, Holland Road, and Valley Road. After ASDA, Route 1 will continue clockwise, and Route 1A will go anti-clockwise, both serving Clacton Shopping Village.

Each will run hourly, combining to provide a bus every 30 minutes at Clacton Shopping Village, including Sundays.

These changes aim to improve access and make the network easier to understand—just look for the 1 and 1A buses to reach us!
