Introducing the CSV Community Garden

We are thrilled to announce that on June 4th, the CSV Community Garden will officially open with the help of ten enthusiastic children from Burrsville Infant Academy’s eco council! These young green thumbs will be actively involved in planting flowers and vegetables, learning about eco-friendly gardening practices, and actively contributing to the creation of a greener community.

Their participation in this event marks a significant step towards transforming an overgrown area into a thriving community asset. This garden is not just a patch of greenery; it’s a space that will enhance local biodiversity, provide a haven for pollinators, and offer fresh produce, thereby encouraging healthier eating habits among community members.

We extend our gratitude to The Works for their generous donation of children’s gardening sets and to Little’Uns for the delightful goody bags that will be distributed on the day of the event. These contributions will undoubtedly add to the excitement and enjoyment of the day!

Stay tuned for further updates as we count down to the grand opening of the CSV Community Garden! Let’s all come together and celebrate Children’s Gardening Week, as we take a small step towards a greener, healthier future for our community!
