We’re excited to launch our Community Champion Awards, and we need YOUR help to recognise the unsung heroes of Clacton-on-Sea and the Tendring area!This is your chance to say thank you to those who have made a special impact on our community. Whether it’s through acts of bravery, caring for others, or making our district a better place, we want to honour them.
Categories:
- Junior Champion of the Year: For individuals 18 years or under who have made outstanding contributions.
- Community Champion of the Year: For adults who have shown exceptional commitment to activities that benefit our community.
Timeline:
- Nominations Open: 14th June – 30th June 2024
- Finalists Announced: 8th July 2024
- Voting Period: 8th July – 20th July 2024
- Awarding Event: 20th July 2024
At our awarding event on 20th July, enjoy games, face painting, live music, and a chance to meet our incredible nominees! Plus, attendees will get one last opportunity to vote for their favourite community champion via a special QR code. Winners
will be presented with their award, along with a bursary amount of £500 donated to a cause of their choice.
